Trust and safety
What has been checked, what is held, and what happens when a trade goes wrong.
The verification ladder
The supplier has an account and has declared who they are. Nothing has been checked. A listing from an L1 store is a claim, and the store says so.
Certificate of incorporation, director identity matched to a government ID, proof of trading address, and a bank account in the company's own name. Re-checked every two years.
Everything in Verified, plus a site visit with an audit report on file. This is the only level that rests on somebody having stood in the facility.
A level is never sold. A supplier on the most expensive plan and a supplier on the free one reach L3 by the same site visit.
Contact details
A supplier’s phone, email and address are released to a buyer once an order is funded, or once the buyer acknowledges the direct-trade disclosure and accepts that nothing is being held on their behalf. Until one of those has happened, both sides talk inside Savanna Trade.
That is not an obstacle for its own sake. Mediation can only use what it can see, and a trade agreed by telephone leaves nothing for anyone to decide on.

What Savanna Trade does not promise
A checked document means we have seen it and confirmed the issuer. It is not a guarantee about the goods in any single shipment, and no verification level is a warranty of quality. Inspection before shipment is available on request and is worth its cost on a first trade.
